Given the news stories, I have been getting a few inquiries about where I am. I am in Kildeer!
I have viewed the stories and pictures about Greece in the last day or so and see that the riot zone was about 4 square blocks in Athens near the Parliament. One of the Greek newspapers said that police chased people through the streets near my (last) hotel’s neighborhood. I am glad to have missed that. Also glad to miss 3 days of ferry strikes.
I had a great time during the trip–so good that I didn’t get so many pictures posted. I’ll attempt to do so this weekend so you may want to check back later–one more time.
